this year as it has been in the past few years. My parents, sister, brother-in-law, and son came for a visit. Saturday while I was at work Christie & my mother-in-law cleaned up house. My parents got her around 1 pm on Sunday had a great visit. I wish that we could have more visits like that. No bickering or disagreeing just good ole story telling. Christie cooked ribs on the grill along with some of her famous corn on the cob & potato salad. All in all it was a great day. Here are some of the pics from the visit.
April
April was a busy month for us. The beginning of the month we got to help out with the Final Four in Atlanta. A week after that we help with the Warrior Dash in Douglasville.
The World didn’t end but….
We are now into the 22nd of December but it was a long ride to get here. I had to work on Friday, got up went to work, for lunch Christie came to the store picked me up and we went to have lunch. After her taking me back to the store her and her mom went Christmas shopping. About 3pm Christie called to see what time I was getting off work because she had to go pick Tyler up at our normal pick-up spot. I told her I wouldn’t be getting off early so come by get the Escape and I would get a ride home. About 6:30 got a phone call from her. She said that a girl driving pulled out in front of her saying the Escape was damaged all along the passenger side. I wasn’t worried about the Escape I was more worried about Christie & Tyler. After Christie got back to the house I said the she at least needs to go to the ER. We got to the ER around 10pm and they have taken a cat-scan & took X-rays of her neck, back & head. They gave her some meds and she has been falling asleep off & on. Hopefully everything will turn out to the good.

My Birthday Weekend
Saturday we drove up to Ellijay and visited R & A Orchards. We got to pick our own Apples the kids had a blast and we also enjoyed watching the smiles on their faces while picking the apples.
Sunday we first headed to Montgomery,Alabama to meet with Christie’s aunt. Jon is staying with her while we will be in the Bahamas. After leaving Montgomery we headed back up to Auburn. Walking in to Toomers Drug store for a large Toomers Lemonade I noticed this sitting on the table. That’s always going to make me smile.
Even though Toomers Oaks were rolled yesterday,they quickly have cleaned the trees up and this is what they looked like 24 hours after they were rolled.

Hanging out with Drew & Meeting Rodney
Last night Christie, David, Amanda, Bruno, Amanda & I headed over to Hoover, Alabama to the Stardome comedy club. Rodney Carrington was the Headliner. Our friend Drew Thomas is Rodney’s opening act and has been for the past year. Being that they were in Birmingham for the weekend I got in contact with Drew to let him know we would be over in the area Saturday night. When we arrived at the Stardome the first show was ending. Drew was at the merchandise table and we started talking with Drew about 15 mins later Rodney came out to sign autographs and take pictures with fans. After the crowd slowly disappeared it was time for the second show to start but we got word that Rodney may not be out after the second show so we took pictures and shot the shit with him for a few. Drew then told me that Tony (Stardome Manager) would be coming to get us and take us to our seats. Little did I know that our seats would be on the stage. So now we are backstage with Rodney & Drew. It’s pretty cool getting VIP treatment. I’ve been to many comedy shows and clubs bit this was by far the best experience I’ve ever had.

Today we got our new Chihuahua we had to wait until Aubree-Anna got home so we could figure out what we were going to name her. They have came up with the name of Honey.

It’s Official…..We’ll be on a Boat!
For weeks we have been discussing going on a cruise. Well last night I made it official. In September we will be celebrating our anniversary with some very good friends, who just happen to have the same anniversary as us on a cruise ship. We will be going to the Bahamas. We both have never been on a cruise, I know they guy who has done everything hasn’t been on a cruise. We are both excited. One because we will be on vacation and second because it will be on a cruise.

It’s a Martinsville Speedway Weekend
Compliments of my Cousin Rick, Christie & I will be heading up to Virginia this weekend to enjoy some NASCAR racing. We will be in the Garage and pit road. Christie & I will be seeing some of our NASCAR Official friends plus some of the drivers that we get hangout with while in Atlanta. The only difference is this time we are not working. We are both working forward to the weekend and want to thank Rick for the opportunity for the weekend. I’ll be posting pictures from our weekend on my Twitter page and on here.
Fulfilling the Promise.
As many of you know I shaved my head yesterday to Conquer Children’s Cancer. I asked for donations from you and my team did very well. The Drake family offered to make a donation of $350.00 if I would wax my legs as well as my head. So.the deal was made the $350.00 was donated and tonight was the start of the waxing. I broadcasted it on Ustream.tv but it did not save for some reason so tomorrow night I’ll be broadcasting the completion of the waxing on my Bambuser Page I’ll be posting a status on my Facebook & Twitter so stay tuned I know it will be after 6pm. Let your friends know.

Tornado Weekend in Georgia
Friday night was a busy night for North Metro Georgia. The clouds started to roll in around 5pm from Alabama.
I had been talking about going storm chasing all day long as I knew that we would be having sever storms Friday evening. I got home and got changed and ready to go out and chase but from what I have heard in the past you should never chase on an empty stomach. We made our way to Applebee’s in Hiram.
During dinner I kept checking my Radarscope & my Twitter account for the newest updates on the severe weather. At 8:07pm WSB confirmed a Tornado at Ga./Alabama border.
We quickly finished up our meal and headed out to chase the storms. Listening to live broadcast from WSB Radio we headed over towards Lost Mountain Park where WSB Radio was saying that it had reports of it getting hit. While heading over there we could look over towards Kennesaw and we noticed what appeared to be a funnel cloud in the sky but not yet on the ground. I thought I had video of it but I’m still looking thru videos. We drove up to Cartersville and met up with 2 other friends and headed towards Rome hoping to get something there.
unfortunatelywe never saw anything else for the rest of the night.
On 3/4/12 we went up Hwy 278 to see if we could see any damage from the tornado that hit Paulding County 3/2/12 and this is the video that we got.
Not your average Sunday night.
Last weekend we sat around at the hospital playing on our phones. While Christie was staying with Jon they ending up learning the game Angry Birds. A week later here is what we got.
